Come to KYC during youth service hours to register your child. One form per child. Please call us or e-mail us at kycconnect@yahoo.com if you have any questions prior to coming. The following are some general information:

Ages: 8 to 18 years old 18-year-old must still be in high school)

KYC may ask for age verification (i.e, birth certificate or school records)

KYC does NOT provide one-on-one services. All youth members are expected to follow all behavior expectations.

No online registration at this time. All registration must be done in person. Black or blue pen must be used. NO pencils.

Registration must be completed in its entirety upon submitting it for acceptance, if not, membership will not be granted until the registration is completed and approved by KYC staff.

MEO Youth Transportation available for most schools. KYC has the forms and must be completed in its entirety upon submitting it to us for acceptance. Once submitted to KYC,we will forward it to MEO and MEO will then notify KYC of acceptance. KYC will then notify the parent and the parent will then call MEO to make reservations per the instructions provided by MEO (KYC will make a copy of that page for parental reference).

Membership is good for the fiscal year of KYC (July 1 - June 30) and must be renewed each year between May 1 to June 28 for continued membership. MEO must be renewed each school year, with registration begining in July for the following school year starting in August.

KYC has particiapted in the COVID mask mandate in the past and may participate in it (or similar) again with minimal or no notice. KYC may provide masks at no cost as we have done in the past and or parents will have to provide them upon official notification. KYC will not accept any expemption requests.

IF your child is sick/ill or appears to be sick/ill at any time, parents must pick up their child immediately upon notification. KYC may take a foreheard temperature check as needed and report to parents.

KYC provides free snacks and meals, but we cannot provide any special requests for dietary restrictions or for allergies, etc., therefore parents must provide the food and drinks in these cases. KYC cannot make any special meals, such as stove saimin for any members nor store members food in any refridgerator. Parents must provide adequate storage, such as a cooler with ice. All food must be eaten during our specified periods.

NO soda, energy drinks or candy allowed to be brought to KYC (KYC does provide candy and sweet treats for special occasions and parents can instruct their child to opt out of receiving it). NO eating raw saimin at KYC. ​

KYC does not provide a menu in advance. Parents may ask what kind of meals we do serve so they can get an idea if they should be providing their own snacks/meals. Members need to bring a labeled bottle/flask for water. KYC has a fountain and staff can refill their items for them. Sports drinks and juice are permitted but must be labeled and kept in the members coolers/bags.
